xCheck 2.3 Lock Up Problem (2 replies and 2 comments)

Hello all,

I hope this is the proper forum for my question.

I have been using xCheck 2.3 (registered) for a couple of years without issue.  Now, the first time I click the Analysis button “PCB” everything runs fine.  When I click it a second time xCheck locks up at the “Analysis Progress…” screen.  The same thing happens with all of my .pcb files that have worked fine in the past.

I have uninstalled xCheck, then reinstalled it and the problem persists.

Can you offer any help?  Thank you very much!

This might be a Windows issue. Have you tried on a different computer?  Software Gizmos gives the support for Xcheck.

I don't have another computer to try; sorry. I am running Win10-64 v1903 (build 18362.356) on a Dell Inspiron 3470 (i5-8400@2.80GHz).

Software Gizmos has not responded to my emails ...

I spoke to Damon at ExpressPCB earlier today and he was able to duplicate the problem with his computer.
