On Monday, August 21, the US will view – what is for some – a once in a lifetime event: a solar eclipse.
ExpressPCB® is located inside the 100% totality zone for the eclipse and we are excited to experience this natural phenomenon with our neighbors and with the world. And it seems the world is coming here to see us. The office of Tourism for the State of Oregon predicts Oregon will welcome over a million visitors (about 25% of our total state population) to watch the event.
Unfortunately, UPS® has advised that with so many extra people on the roads on Monday, they will be counting August 21 as a non-guaranteed ship day* for our location.
Please be advised that ExpressPCB is already adjusting schedules to ship orders early (Friday 8/18) whenever possible. We assure you that we will do our best to honor your due date, even if it falls on Eclipse Day – but some orders may be delayed by a day.
*Customers that are in the path of totality across the entire US may experience package delivery delays on Friday & Monday as well due to UPS changes to delivery.
